- Dead or dying trees
- Storm-damaged trees

Pick your town to see the tree rules where you live and the jobs that come up most on your street. Our licensed local partner can look at your tree and put the price in writing.
Tree service areas
One licensed local tree company takes requests from every town on the map, from Live Oak down to Plumas Lake.
Tree ownership and permits
Most trees around your house are yours to look after, but one by the street, a county road, a highway, a levee, or a power line has someone else with a say. Your mailing address won't always tell you which, so check before anyone cuts and save yourself a fine.
Who decides: You
A tree on your own lot is yours to trim or take down. A licensed tree company can tell you if anything about it needs a permit before the work starts.

If branches hang over your roof or the tree has grown too thick, trimming and pruning clears the space and keeps your tree healthy for years.
Stump grinding takes your old stump down below ground, surface roots included, so you can mow right over the spot or plant something new.
When a storm drops a tree or a big limb on your house, car, or fence, ask for emergency removal. A licensed crew can clear it away safely.

Common questions
Yuba City, Marysville, Live Oak, Plumas Lake, Olivehurst, and Linda, across Sutter and Yuba County. One licensed local crew covers all of them, so you hear from the people who would do the work.
Yes. If you're in Wheatland, Sutter, or somewhere else nearby, send a request and say where the tree is. We'll check whether the crew can come out to your street.
Your ZIP code won't always tell you. 95901 covers both Marysville and Linda, and 95961 covers Olivehurst and Plumas Lake. Give your street address to your city hall or Yuba County Public Works, and they can tell you which one you're in.
Only a tree in the county's own road right-of-way. Yuba County Public Works looks after trees along county-maintained roads, but a tree in your yard, or in a strip you're responsible for, is yours to take care of and pay for.
It depends on the city. In Yuba City, the city takes out its own street trees on its own schedule. In Marysville, the city has to approve the removal in writing, and the property owner replaces the tree. Ask your city before you hire anyone.
Yes, wherever you live. Homeowners never pay us anything. The tree company may pay us a referral fee, so you only ever pay them, and only if you hire them for the job.
